Professional bass fisherman and founder of Sportsmen’s Outreach, Glenn Chappelear combines his love for the outdoors with his passion for sharing the gospel.

A Clemson University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary graduate, Glenn has competed on the Major League Fishing and FLW tours for over two decades, leading FOCAS Bible Studies for anglers, sponsors, and families at every stop. He has served as a student pastor, police chaplain, and evangelist across the country, speaking at men’s events, wild game dinners, and sportsman banquets.  

Glenn and his wife, Donna, live in Acworth, Georgia, and have three children. Come hear Glenn’s stories of faith, perseverance, and what it means to follow Christ both on and off the water.  

The event is open to the public, and attendees can purchase tickets at the door of the event, on Sunday mornings in the North Hall at The Chapel in Marlboro, online HERE, or by calling the church office at (330) 935-0132. Please note, online ticket sales will start on December 28th.

There is no admission fee to hear Glenn’s powerful message and tickets for the dinner are just $10. The delicious meal of homemade sausage, sauerkraut and dessert will be served from 5:30pm to 7:00 pm, with Glenn taking the platform at 7:15 pm to deliver his inspirational and impactful message.
